Vale la pena

{Translation of her post title:  Worth it}

Wednesday we got in and went basically straight to classes and met our district. I absolutely love my district. Literally after 2 days together we were all best friends! There are 5 Hermanas and 5 Elderes.

My compaƱera is amazing! From the first 20 min we spent as a companionship we knew we were going to get along great:)  She is from Idaho falls and she is going to Bolivia too! So is one of the other elderes in our district. They both had the exact same happen to them with changing MTCs and didn't get visas in time! So there are 4 of us who were supposed to be in the Mexico MTC but are here. We all love each other. We were super focused and the other districts were super impressed!

On Friday we taught our first lesson!!! They get you teaching super fast. It went so so well with my companion and we were super excited to teach the next day but then we only had like an hour and a half to prepare, and our lesson Saturday morning went so badly on my part. So the rest of the day we were all totally out of it, having been stuck in the same classroom for 3 days and studying harder than any of us have in our lives... and we were reading through the white handbook and after like 30 pages we kinda started giggling and then we couldn't control ourselves. The rest of the day if any of us looked at each other we would break out in laughter. We were so stressed out and unfocused. We all needed it to kinda release the stress. It was a lot better than crying! And through it we all got so close as a district!

Sunday was amazing! It was a super nice reset. We had some amazing speakers that talked to us and I got a renewed motivation. I really struggled at points this week but I love love love it here!  And even though it has been snowing I have been inside literally all day every day, so finally on Sunday we got to go on a walk outside to the temple which was superbien! I loved it!

Monday we taught Salvador again but we went last and he had to leave early so we got to share a short testimony about the 40 min lesson we prepared... but that's what'll happen out in the field! But Tuesday helped a ton! We had an awesome devotional and it got me focused back on why I am here! I know I am going to be able to do great things here and in the field.  And whatever doubts I had, they are gone.

The food is decent... It is exactly the same food I had been eating at college... but decent!

This morning we went to the temple with our zone early in the morning, and ate breakfast at the temple cafeteria which was cool! Then we went to the worldwide missionary broadcast that introduced some changes to the missionary schedule to allow missionaries to use their agency more for when they are going to study etc. Which will make more of a difference when I get out in the field, but for now we are on the same schedule as far as I know:)

Don't count the days, make the days count!

(She also sent this note in another email with the pics, and I couldn't tell if it was too braggy, but I'll just put it here anyway.)Also I am really really excelling in my class.  Everyone comes to me for questions about Spanish:) OH! and I got called as the District STL which is equivalent to District leader:)
